Nationally recognized aviation design firm Corgan Associates, Inc., in association with Fentress Architects, leads the design team for Sacramento International Airport's new Central Terminal B. The collaborative design process includes stakeholders, community members, passengers, and airport tenants who provide valuable input. The team is supported by over a dozen local architectural and engineering firms assisting with design of the various program elements. Those firms include Lionakis Design Group, Dreyfuss and Blackford, Kennedy/Jenks, Capital Engineering, TTE, Hatch Mott MacDonald, Enovity, and Lea+Elliott.
The Big Build program management team includes Paslay Management Group, AECOM, Brad Saylor, Faithful and Gould. Other Big Build team members include Bombardier Transportation Holdings and KONE.
The Big Build finance team includes First Southwest Company (financial advisor), Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP (bond counsel), Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth (disclosure counsel), Jacobs Consultancy (airport consultant), J.P. Morgan (senior manager), Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. (co-senior manager), Goldman Sachs & Co. (co-senior manager).
Landside Terminal
The joint venture of Austin Commercial and Walsh landed the contract to build the landside terminal, a three-story building that will include ticket counters and the baggage claim area. The joint venture is based in Phoenix and will have an office in Sacramento.

Airside Concourse
Turner Construction, one of the nation's largest general contractors and a major player in the Sacramento region, was awarded the contract to build the airside Concourse B, which includes the 19 gates and international arrival services. The company will join Flatiron and Teichert Construction to assist with the design and construction of the concourse project, which includes the aircraft parking area and taxiways.
