Sacramento County Airport System Breaks Ground on $1.27 Billion Terminal Project

WHAT: Local elected officials and dignitaries will gather to celebrate the groundbreaking for Central Terminal B, the largest capital improvement project in Sacramento County history.

WHEN: Thursday, June 19, 2008, 8:45 a.m. Speaking program begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: Sacramento International Airport, Terminal B Hourly Parking Lot

VISUALS: Arrive early to capture interviews with local elected officials, Sacramento County officials and other local notables.

A brief speaking program will precede a ceremonial groundbreaking and photo opportunity with local elected officials, Sacramento County management and contractors involved in the program.

A large banner celebrating the event will be strung between two backhoes as a backdrop to the ceremony and area that will be turned with ceremonial shovels.
