Big Build Airside Concourse Reaches Skyward

WHAT:
Local elected officials, Big Build team members and special guests will gather to celebrate placement of the first steel beam on the airside site.

WHEN:
Tuesday, September 1, 2009
Shuttles to event site depart at 9 a.m.

WHERE:
Sacramento International Airport, Big Build Project Management Office
6705 Lindbergh Drive, Sacramento, 95837 [map enclosed]

VISUALS:
Big Build team members, Sacramento County Airport System Staff, Sacramento County staff and elected officials will autograph a painted beam upon arrival on the construction site.

A brief speaking program will precede hoisting of the autographed beam into place.

SAFETY:
All attendees are required to wear closed-toed, flat-soled shoes and sleeved shirts. Hard hats, safety goggles and safety vests will be issued for use during the event and must be worn at all times.

SECURITY:
Due to the location of the event site on the airfield, security clearance must be pre-arranged. RSVP by 5 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2009 with the following information for each attendee to arrange for clearance:
* Full, legal name (first, middle and last)
* Date of birth
